East River TEC (Together Encounter Christ) is a spiritual movement for older teens and young adults in the Sioux Falls Catholic Diocese. Each three-day retreat is filled with dynamic reflections, music, sacraments, adoration, small group discussion and prayer. Afterwards, the TEC community evolves into a network of support that reinforces both parish involvement and personal spiritual growth. TEC leads participants to integrate Christ’s Paschal Mystery (dying, rising and going forth) at a time of passage through young adulthood.

Believing that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the core message of our Christian faith, East River TEC offers youth and young adults of the Sioux Falls Catholic Diocese an authentic encounter of Christ and his Paschal Mystery while accompanying them throughout their faith journey.

Fourth Day Events are an opportunity for TECites to reconvene following their retreat to reflect on their retreat experience and dive deeper into what they've learned and how it is has impacted their relationships back home.

Spend a weekend with the Paschal Mystery of Christ as a participant in a TEC retreat, or as a retreat team member. Team members are selected based on specific needs for each retreat.
